Hello my lovelies!
Today I would like to share with you these lovely star decorations made out of the papers found in the Hackney and Co Winter Woodland paper pad. These are perfect as christmas decorations.
If you haven't seen my previous blog posts, Craft Consortium has launched a new collection from Hackney and Co called Winter Woodland. The designs are wonderfully illustrated with auntumnal themes which are perfect for your autumn and winter makes!
For these star decorations I used the star maker that was a free gift with issue 312 Crafts Beautiful magasine along with a scoring tool and a tutorial on how to make these. The star maker is a template of one section (one point of the star) and the idea is to make up the sections and join them together. For this star I had to make 5 sections. I found that these were very easy to make, although it was fiddly at the end joining together the last sections. It is worth the struggle as the end result is stunning!
You can add a piece of string to your star and hang them up around your home.
There are other designs you can do with the star maker tool.
Thank you for stopping by today :)
