Tutorial: New Home notelets

Hello everyone! Hope you have all had a good week and enjoying your weekends.

Today I'm going to talk through this new home notelet I have made. One of the many tasks you have to do when moving home is telling your family and friends your new address. Why not make these sweet notelets to give them! I decorated the front with the Dovecraft Floral Muse paper pack and then I left the back blank so you can write your new address with your message!

I used the Dovecraft Floral muse paper pack to make this. The designs in this pack are simply gorgeous and I love the pastel colours used! It is a good pack to use if you wanted to make a shabby chic style card!

To make this notelet, you will need:
  • White card stock
  • Corner punch
  • Dovecraft Floral Muse paper pack
  • Adhesive gems
  • Xcut mini alphabet dies
1. Cut a piece of white card stock, approx 12.5cm x 10cm, and cover with the dotty/scripture design paper. Round off each corner using a corner punch.

2. Cut another piece of white card stock, approx 11cm x 8cm, and cover with the pink paper. Round off each corner using a corner punch. Attach this in the centre of the 12.5cm x 10cm piece.

3. Cut out a large rose with its leaves from the rose paper and attach to the bottom left hand corner of the 11cm x 8cm piece. Cut a smaller rose and attach on top using 3D foam squares.

4. Cut out a butterfly and glue to the notelet, folding its wings up to give it that 3D effect.

5. Die cut 'New Home' using the Xcut mini alphabet dies and glue on the right hand corner of the notelet.

6. Finish the notelet by adding 3 adhesive gems in 3 of the corners to add some sparkle!

Thank you for stopping by and reading my tutoral :)

Happy crafting!
