Tutoral: Thank you Card

Hello my lovelies! The weekend is nearly here! Horray! :)

I would like to share with you today my tutorial on how to make this simple thank you card using the lovely Santoro Kori Kumi range.

You will need:
6x4 card blank
Kori Kumi paper pack
Kori Kumi resin flowers
Kori Kumi leaf ribbon
Kori Kumi alphabet bunting
Squirrel stamp from the Kori Kumi "An apple a day" stamp set
Kori Kumi heart stick pins
White embroidery thread or string

Instructions
 1. Cut a rectangle of the red spotty paper, approx 8.5cm x 10cm, and attach to the centre of the card.

2. Cut a rectangle of the yellow floral paper, approx 7.5cm x 9cm, and attach in the centre of the red rectangle.

3. Cut 4 pieces of the dark green leaf ribbon and stick around the edge of the yellow paper to create a border.

4. Cut a piece of white embroidery thread (or string if preferred) approx 30cm - just so you have enough for the bunting to fit the width of the card and to leave some to hang down either side. Attach the lettering bunting to the string using cellotape (this won't be seen as it will be on the back) Attach the bunting to the card using 3D foam squares.

5. Stamp out the squirrel image onto a seperate piece of card and colour in using colouring pencil or a medium of your choice, for example you may want to use watercolours. Once you have coloured in the image, cut out and attach to the card using double sided tape with a foam square on the tail so it gives a 3D effect.

6. Glue the resin flowers randomly around the leaf ribbon border.

7. Add two heart stick pins in the bottom right hand corner using 3D foam squares. I used pliers to cut off the sharp ends on the pins.

8. Lastly, with end of the embroidery thread that is hanging down either side of the bunting, thread it around the resin flowers and ribbon and if required use a little dab of glue just to secure into place.

Thank you for reading through my tutorial.

Happy crafting :)
