Santoro Kori Kumi - Phase 2: Part one

Hello lovely crafters!
Hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely sunshine :)

In my blog post today I am going to talk to you about the new Santoro Kori Kumi range by Craft Consortium. Craft Consortium sent me the new collection to have a play with. I was very excited to get started crafting with this range as I am a big fan of the Santoro collections, especially the Gorjuss range! The new Kori Kumi collection can be used with the previous collection, it has lovely new designs, papers, embellishents and more! When I look at this range it reminds me of spring/summer with a hint of a tropical theme. Very refreshing!

I would like to share with you some of my cards I have made with this collection. You may have already seen these featured on my Facebook and Instagram pages.

For this card I used one of the floral papers as the background. I picked out colours from the background and image and cut strips of card in these colours. I then attached these across the centre of the card. I die cut a circle around the Dreamboat character and glued it to a wooden doilie to create a focal point for my card. I then scattered a few resin flowers around the edge and finished it off with a purple bow.

My next make is a shaker card using the Melon Shower clear stamp. I coloured my image using colouring pencils. You can use any medium you like to colour your stamps, I think that colouring pencils work really nicely. I made the shaker element with the melon themed paper so that it ties together with the stamped image and used a the little houses image as the background. I added in the little sequins to the shaker element and a melon button to finish the card.

 Thank you for visiting today.

Happy Crafting!

Kayla xx
